THEIR STORY

In 2016, one African American brainstormed strategies to help innovators get support he needed to implement his ideas for global betterment. Prince B. Miller soon realized that there was no shortage of great concepts nor supporters willing to help in said direction. The real challenge was bridging the gap between those great developers and the resources needed to make them a reality. Upon arrival in the United State of American in 2017, Prince B. Miller began to meditate on how he could give back to society. Based on the many challenges and difficulties he encountered while schooling in Liberia, Prince realized that life in Africa is difficult and challenging so he developed an idea and established a nonprofit Organization to be able to make an impact in people's lives in Africa and around the world. In 2019, Prince B. Miller created the world’s first Global Bassolians Charitable Organization---- known as The Global Bassolians for Development and Progress Incorporated.

Today, the Global Bassolians for Development and Progress Inc... has the distinction of not only being the first, but also the largest Bassolians Organization--connecting with underprivileged children, poor communities, schoolchildren, disable families,single parents, clinics, hospitals and old folks to amplify as a means of adding value to the human existence.The organization,(GBDP,) a registered 501c(3) non-profit Organization based in the United States, provides a technology platform that delivers robust materials, enabling students, underprivileged children, poor communities, Disable families, Single parents, clinics, hospitals and old folks, to achieve their dreams and get back on their feet for better tomorrow. The mission is to increase awareness of issues and activities leading to support and conduct nonpartisan research, education, sexual based violence and developmental activities, to increase public awareness of issues in the world’s protection and restoration; to provide research and information to foundations and corporate giving programs about the needs of communities, towns, villages and churches such as schools, clean water, food, clothes and other materials; to sponsor report, meetings and workshops for people with disabilities, help and support community on how to create a program for people who aren’t doing anything in their communities; and to educate the public about the funding needs of organizations that work to protect and restore lives in the world.

Miller, through its growth and success to the people who supported the dream,’’ We’ve come thus far due to the incredible devotion that all of the staff, interns, and volunteers have given to Global Bassolians for Development and Progress---believing in the little dream that Prince had about creating a ‘better space’ where ‘developments’ could take the center stage driven by the best and most passionate. Thanks to our project partners, donors, corporate partners, and founders for their unwavering support over the years in getting us to where we are today as an institution.

It wasn’t easy, there were a lot of challenges along the way, but through the help of God Almighty it was worthy.We have come this far due to an improvement in our engagements with greater donors about the amazing work that we undertake everyday in Africa and other parts of the world.

The Global Bassolians for Development and Progress allows or accepts donors to connect directly with organizations to see the projects and impacts they make in people's lives around the world. It enables and empowers students in Liberia to continue their education and graduate from school. In fact, the Global Bassolians for Development and Progress directs more school materials to local schools in Liberia and provides livinghood to the most needed people in Liberia and around the world, a step considered as the top priority for Prince B. Miller, CEO of Global Bassolians for Development and Progress.

The Global Bassolians for Development and Progress website gives each donor a homepage with information about our project and the impact we make in people's lives in Liberia and the world at large. People involved, photo galleries, project links and even publish financial yearly reports and project updates to our donors around the globe. As a nonprofit organization we are supported by global partners and serve public schools, private schools, underprivileged children and other community based, Global Bassolians for Development and Progress relies heavily on its website to feature each school, church, community, children, disable community and old folks and help them achieve their various dreams.

When the organization rebranded from its original name Development Progress back in 2019, its founder initially decided to not become gbassolians.com, believing that the .com domain was more common and more easily used by visitors. Moreover, the .com created a lot of conflict for users who were left with the impression that Global Bassolians for Development and Progress was a for-profit organization. Our supporters, donors had also voiced the suggestion that if the organization was really a not-for-profit organization, it should use..ORG for its online home services. However , at the time, Global Bassolians for Development and Progress was already owned. The organization proof a series of testimonials to donors, individuals, supporters and friends around the world the life-changing impact of the work being accomplished by the organization in Liberia and around and sent it to our website for donors to review what the organization did with donations they received.

Since becoming a .ORG, Global Bassolians for Development and Progress has seen a marked increase from donations, and trust from donors. When visiting the website for the first time, or even when viewing the results of a facebook, linkedin, and other social media pages, people immediately recognize it as a nonprofit.

As Global Bassolians for Development and Progress Program Director, Oldpa V. Kai explains: ‘’I honestly can’t imagine where we came from in hitting this level of success as the organization continues to grow and make impacts in people's lives around the world. ‘’And that level of success has indeed been great for the organization. Through its website, Global Bassolians for Development and Progress provides hope for many students, children, disable communities, underprivileged children and old folks that serve as multipliers of donors and sponsors for the organization and even small donations can add up and make a big impact in people’s lives.

Global Bassolians for Development and Progress started because the founder noticed that many African children were out of school and parents were not able to financially support their children to achieve a better education for tomorrow , looking at the challenges he faced when acquiring primary and secondary education. To solve this problem,he founded this organization to interact with donors, sponsors which is based on the challenges of many more people and humanitarian organizations in order to support our future leaders and many communities throughout the world. He believes that one day the dream will come to reality, and will prove to be true to our donors, individuals, sponsors, friends and other nonprofit institutions providing funding to the solicited ideas to fight global poverty.
It has since raised USD $3,700 from neary 100 donors and sponsors to support the organization project. The Organization brings together friends, family and people from diverse backgrounds to make positive impacts in the world. Since the organization came to being, it has supplied over 300 hundred schools in Liberia with school materials and helped more than 150 individuals to get back on their feet to make life easy for themselves.

We can’t make it on our own, your contributions have helped many children and families to get back on their feets and go back to school and make a new life for themselves over the years since our involvement.
